Why don’t you include ssa benefit for some period of time in your portfolio? I look at it as an inflation adjusted annuity that is part of my portfolio. T.

Thanks for your question.
The focus of my research has always been on maximizing the income available from retirement investment accounts. Thus, I ignore sources of additional income, as they do not affect my research. Naturally, as part of a comprehensive personal retirement plan, one would want to consider SSA and pension benefits in order to compute maximum overall spending power.
